Sound Oil is pursuing an active exploration programme of 3-4 wells and new seismic surveys on its Bangkanai and Citarum PSCs in Indonesia during 2010 and 2011.
Bangkanai PSC:
- POD for Kerendan Gas Field granted
- Development drilling to commence 2010
- First gas expected 2012
- First exploration well planned for 2010-2011 to target potential deeper gas reserves
Citarum PSC:
- Currently acquiring 1020 km new 2D seismic
- Three exploration wells to be drilled 2010-2011
